DOOA Terra Base Flow Pipe 230
A dedicated pipe system designed to connect a circulation pump (such as the DOOA Stream Pump Mini or similar) to a compatible DOOA Terra Base, automating the irrigation of mosses and attached epiphytic plants. The Flow Pipe 230 delivers water through the Terra Base's porous ceramic structure, creating a continuous drip or trickle that keeps mounted plants hydrated without manual misting.
How It Works:
1. Water is pumped from a reservoir (or the bottom of your paludarium) through the Flow Pipe 230
2. The pipe connects to the Terra Base, delivering water into its porous ceramic core
3. Water percolates through the Terra Base and seeps out the surface, irrigating attached plants
4. Excess water drips back into the reservoir, completing a closed-loop system

Setup Instructions:
1. Connect the Pump: Attach the Flow Pipe 230 to your circulation pump's outlet
2. Install the Terra Base: Position the Terra Base in your terrarium or paludarium
3. Attach the Pipe: Insert the Flow Pipe into the Terra Base (follow DOOA instructions for secure fitting)
4. Fill the Reservoir: Ensure the pump has access to water (either a separate reservoir or the paludarium's bottom water layer)
5. Adjust Flow Rate: Start with low flow and observe plant response. increase if plants show signs of drying, decrease if waterlogging occurs

Maintenance:
Why Automate?
Manual misting can be inconsistent—too much water one day, not enough the next—leading to stressed plants or fungal issues. The Flow Pipe 230 provides steady, predictable moisture that lets your epiphytes thrive with minimal intervention. Ideal for busy aquascapers or advanced setups where precision matters.
Compatibility:
Length: 230mm—ensure this matches your terrarium layout and pump-to-Terra Base distance.
